NUTRI-EMERGE: DESIGN IDEAS FOR FUSSY EATERS (MINCED MEAT, CHICKEN CURRY,BAG-BAKED MACKEREL NICOISE)

I used to be one, just drawing the liquid from food and not eating and swallowing the rest. Now, I eat almost everything.


MINCED MEAT/CHILLI CON CARNE


- Cut small bell pepper into half

- Pierce cucumber in the middle using barbecue stick, through bell pepper (more in the front) and through the other cucumber. Repeat this in the back portion of the cucumber (Cut the sharp end after putting cucumber at both ends and make sure to throw the stick after using it.)

- Put minced meat inside cucumber

- Gravy as the river

- Any salad leaves as the grasses

- Chips/French fries as the road. You can use also rice or mash potatoes if you want.

- Broccoli stalk is only for design purposes

CHICKEN CURRY


- I used a collapsible funnel to make a mountain rice. This reminds me when eating couscous whilst visiting Morocco.

- Parsley leaves or small leaves planted on the rice mountain.

- The curry sauce used as a liquid that surrounds the rice mountain.

- Another tip is to hide a boiled egg or some surprise inside the mountain to engage your kids to eat first before uncovering the surprise treat.




BAG-BAKED MACKEREL NICOISE


- You can use cod, salmon or mackerel

- Parcels: I used 3 different parcels (foil, banana leaves or baking paper)

- You can serve fish on a parcel with rice or potatoes or do your plating as I did in the picture.

- 29x29 cm (square size)
